(TRANSLATION) Master of Arts (Theology)

Rationale
The M.A.Th. is a graduate level programme that focuses exclusively on the following academic disciplines:  Biblical Studies, Church History, and Theology.  It is directed to students whose desire is to be competent in theology and, in certain cases, to prepare for doctoral studies.  Since the M.A.Th. contains no courses in the practice of ministry, it should not be seen as preparation for pastoral ministry.

Prerequisites
Applicants will have a Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree from a recognized university, with an average of 3.0 in the courses in the area of major concentration during the last two years of undergraduate study.  The statute of limitations is five years.

A student who has obtained a Master of Divinity from a recognized university may apply to complete an M.A. (Theology) in a minimum of one year of study comprising 24 credits and an acceptable thesis.
